Indian Numbering System

The Indian Numbering System also known as the Lakh and Crore system is used in the Indian sub-continent and neighbouring countries. This system uses separators differently from the western Million numbering system.

For example, 413,945,000 would be written as 41,39,45,000 and read as forty one crores thirty nine lakhs and forty five thousand.
